Academic Publishing Workshop

The Indigenous Education Network will be hosting a publishing workshop on Tuesday, May 10th from 1-3pm EST facilitated by academic writing coach and editor, Lisa Pfau and invited guest PhD candidate Crystal Garvey.

The aim of this workshop is to help graduate students overcome barriers by providing an overview of the publishing process, as well as some tricks and tips to make publishing their work more accessible. We will be discussing:

– What to expect from the publication process

– Strategies for getting your work out there

– Tips for organizing your ideas & writing flow

– Staying motivated after rejection
